This year's Sukkot theme is "Hear, O Israel!" This speaks to all of us, it speaks to us as you look at us, and speaks to you as we look at you. We are Israel as members and keepers of the Covenant. We should be quick to listen to what YHVH is saying and slow to interject our own opinions. Our Creator has been so gracious to us that He has given us Torah to read, study, hear and understand in this last day. Moreover, He gave us His Son, Yeshua, to hear and obey, as well.
During our time together at Sukkot In-Tents, we will learn how to hear the voice of YHVH through the study of His Word and the clear leading of His Spirit. We will learn how to follow His Instructions as He leads us into intimate worship and intercession. Furthermore, we will sit at His feet as YHVH teaches us how to be one with Him and each other.
All of these aspects and more begin with hearing. We must learn to hear and know His voice, whether it is from Torah, Yeshua, the Spirit or the mouth of a brother or sister that He uses to teach, lead, correct and exhort us.
Each day will have a flavor of how to Hear, O Israel! The week will progress us toward loosing the bonds of this world and accepting His yoke upon us, for it is truly easy and His burden is light. By the end of the Feast, our hearing will lead us to the presence of YHVH and we will enter into His courts with praise for we will have experienced His Voice and will have sat at His feet.
Come, hear what YHVH will say to us this year at Sukkot! Hear, O Israel, then we will taste and see that YHVH is GOOD!
