home about us how to prepare how to attend sukkot in torah contact us

You want to attend Sukkot In-Tents? Well that’s easy! Let’s get started:

  1. Complete All PAGES of the registration form. If you have ANY special needs you must write them on the registration form or include a note with the form. We will help you in whatever way possible, but we need to know ahead of time so that when we are assigning campsites we can take your needs into consideration.
  2. Send your completed registration to the address shown on the form. Make sure you send your payment. You must be entirely paid by September 7, 2007 (If you pay by credit card it costs us 4%, so if you can pay by a check made out to "Sukkot In-Tents" or from your PayPal account it’s better. If you need to pay by credit card it’s okay.)
  3. Check the SERVING AT SUKKOT section on the Registration Form and decide how you can participate.
  4. If you have any questions please email us by clicking here, or call 813.240.8660.

Once you have submitted your registration form, and at least half of the total cost, you will receive a confirmation package. You will be assigned a campsite (which will be held thru September 7th or until the final payment is received, whichever comes first. Your campsite can also be close to your friends if you indicate that on your registration form). Make sure that you complete the confirmation forms BEFORE arriving at the camp. This package will include an admittance pass which will allow you to enter our camp. You must hold on to this information and bring it with you.

If you have your own RV that is special needs enabled, then you will be right at home at the park. Keep in mind that while the grounds are flat, the roads and RV pads are gravel and not paved. We will try to accommodate your needs if you let us know how we can help you.

Do’s & Don’ts for Sukkot
Want to come so Sukkot Intents? Do These Thing:

  • Pray for this adventure. Pray for YHVH’s leading.
  • Register early.
  • Come as a servant. YHVH is the leader. We all follow His instructions!
  • Invite others to come.
  • Join in the praise, dance and worship.
  • Fill out all forms AHEAD OF TIME with information asked.
  • Pay your fees as early as possible. We have to pay for everything BEFORE you get to camp. Help us to be able to do that. This is NOT a money making event. It is a sacrificial event for the planners.
  • Watch your children! Unfortunately unsafe people aren’t easily identified.
  • DRESS MODESTLY! Around the campground, in worship and at the Mikvah, dress modestly. Do not be a distraction or seek attention with wrong clothing choices. This goes for men and women, teens and children. Some shorts, tops and swimsuits should not be worn in public. If in doubt, ask a same gender leader to help you make the decision.
  • Be ready to help someone in need. Look for them. Help set up tents, share meals, tote things for others, etc.
  • Make a donation so that others having a hard time financially can come.
  • Police your campsite for litter and organization.
  • Police the park for litter.
  • Bring a heart of worship.
  • Respect all of our differences.
  • Come early and help set up.
  • Stay late to help tear down.
  • Use Sukkot for community, worship and rest, not for amusement parks, entertainment and vacation indulgences.
  • Keep your speech and words pleasant and free from complaining.
  • Put other’s needs ahead of your own.
  • Find a job that needs doing and volunteer BEFORE you get there.
  • Guide your teenagers and children to follow the rules and to walk in the Ruach for the Feast.
  • Pray with one another, and pray for a wonderful Sukkot for everyone.
  • Respect the camping experience of your neighbors.
  • PLAN TO HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME!

Still Interested? Read this list of what not to do:

  • Do not wait until the last minute to register and expect to get the campsite you want.
  • Do Not Bring a Contentious, Critical, Prideful, or Jealous Spirit. Not even two people can agree on everything. There will be things you may not believe, different words you might say or not say. Be considerate. Share—but don’t “go hunting for bear.” Encourage others to seek YHVH’s Presence. Do not diminish their walk with the Creator.
  • Don’t conduct your own meetings. This is a gathering that has been planned with much prayer and effort. Your presence should guarantee your interest in these events.
  • Do not expect other people to take care of you children. You should be the one who knows where your children are and what they are doing.
  • Please, don’t bite someone else’s head off for helping your children if they perceive them in danger. Be patient and let your child see that you respect people. When they see this they will respect them too – even if some are over zealous.
  • Allow others to grow. Everyone stumbles. Everyone needs the space to make mistakes and be corrected in love. Be considerate of other people. If you don’t show mercy, don’t expect mercy from those around you, either.
  • Do not make public corrections to a wrong situation. Please bring these matters to the Leaders for proper handling.
  • Do not seek a public presence. YHVH should be the one to shine. He is first and is to increase, while we decrease.
  • Don’t, Don’t, Don’t take on offenses. Please, give the other person the benefit of the doubt.

Refund Policy
We certainly want everyone that is supposed to be with us this year to be at Sukkot. However, we do realize that sometimes situations arise when we have to miss out or withdraw from what we have committed to. If this happens, we will be more than glad to give a full refund up until September 7th, 2007. After that, unfortunately, you will lose your deposit. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and will be in prayer that everyone that desires to be at Sukkot In-Tents will not have any problems attending this year.

Donations & Scholarships
The commandments of YHVH are very clear. We are to help the Levite, poor, needy, widow and the orphan. You can decide if these apply to you or others you know. The application, it that our third year tithes are designated to help the less fortunate, along with the command to bring them with us on the pilgrimage Feasts when we go.

When you give donations for Sukkot In-Tents, we use portions of that donation for those that would not be financially able to attend the Feast. We also teach our participants about the proper aspects of tithing so that everyone can make proper financial preparations for all of YHVH’s Feasts. The remaining donation amounts are used for the expenses of a celebration of this magnitude.

If you are in need of assistance to attend Sukkot In-Tents, please let us know of your need. While we cannot promise that everyone will receive a total scholarship, we will listen and pray with you for provision and to know what YHVH would have us do. We do not want anyone who is a fellow Israelite and earnestly desires to celebrate Tabernacles to miss out on this Feast celebration.
