Camping Costs and Registration Fees:
We are keeping the cost to a simple and affordable system this year. It is one fee per family, regardless of size. We are not using registration to make money. All of the money collected for registration will go towards the camping fees and necessities of running a Sukkot. Please pray if you are to contribute more for the cost of hosting an event of this type and maginitude or to help with scholarships for those who need some extra help. You will be provided a place for a donation on your registration form, as well as, a time to give your offering during the Sukkot Celebration.
The dates for this feast celebration is September 27 (beginning at sunset, arriving at the campground during the day and Sukkot observance beginning at sunset) until October 7th (Sukkot ends at sunset on October 4th with October 5th being the eighth day or Shemini Atzeret, see Leviticus 23:38-39). With the understanding that the eighth day is a Shabbat and will be a Friday this year making a double Shabbat with the weekly Shabbat on Saturday, October 6th. We do not want anyone to have to work on either Shabbat, so we have included two extra days in the campground for us to break camp on Saturday night and all day on Sunday.) If you need to check in Wednesday, the 26th, you must let us know on this form. While we are providing a weekend rates for tent and RV during the weekend of Sept. 28-30 only, we strongly urge you to attend the entirety of Sukkot with us at the campground. Moreover, there are limited spaces for weekenders, so it will be first come first serve; and, preference will be given to week-long attendees. Registration includes all programs, special events, available workshops and children/youth programs. Family members are those who live INSIDE your home. Registration is strictly on a per family basis. Close friends or extended relatives must register as a separate family. This is not intended to define your family, but is used for the sole purpose of fairly calculating fees.
Preregistration ends on September 7th. This is not the end of Sukkot Registration. Please, send your check and registration prior to arriving to camp. You may send your payment and registration to:
Sukkot In-Tents
1001 S. Chilhowee Drive, Knoxville, TN 37914
Make your check payable to Sukkot In-Tents.
The registration fees includes a campsite for 10 nights and all activities for Sukkot, except the cost of a shofar for the shofar workshop. This breaks down to as little as $35 per day for a campsite (or less than $19 per day for 5 people sharing one cabin), teaching sessions, worship, children/youth programs and other activities, including putt-putt, for an entire family, regardless of size. This is a excellent value given the great location on the edge of The Smoky Mountain National Park and Gatlinburg being only 15 minutes away.
