Kids In-Tents is the portion of Sukkot In-Tents devoted to our children. We are rearing up the next generation of Israel. If we overlook them, then we will lose the significance and the significance of all that YHVH has brought us through. Our children are the ones who will receive even more blessings as we walk out Torah in Messiah. However, we must be diligent to teach and instruct our children in the Way, the Truth and the Life of Torah.
Each day, excluding Shabbats, Kids In-Tents will meet in the morning and, if there is interest and help, in the afternoons. The children's sessions will include teaching from the same teachers that will be teaching the adults, theme related crafts, praise and worship instruction and application, questions and answer times, and play times to encourage friendships. During worship in the evenings, we encourage families to be together. We know that worship time can go long, so during the worship time (around 8:15 p.m. or so) the children can gather at the back of the Tent of Meeting for some worship activities and a chance to release some pent up energy.
The Kid's In-Tents area will be a designated and protected area for safe learning and play for ages 4-12. We do need help with this. If you are able, please volunteer for time with the children. This will be a requirement for those who have children. Remember, it takes a community to raise the next generation of believers!
We look forward to seeing your family at Sukkot this year and helping you with your children as they grow in the faith of Messiah.
